There are different types of beer tap wall mounts available which are practical and stylish solution. We are going to go over a few of them that work best for restaurants and bars.

Types of Beer Tap Wall Mounts

There are two different types of wall-mount beer towers. Direct draw wall mounts and glycol or tower chilled wall mounts for draft beer dispensing.

Direct Draw Beer Tap Wall Mounts

Direct draw beer tap wall mounts work best on beer cooler walls where the beer shank goes through the wall into the cooler. This type of system attaches to the walk-in cooler and the beer line runs from the cooler to the beer faucets, which are attached by beer shanks. The back end is set up with stainless steel equipment and typically pumped up with C02 to dispense the beer. They are very common in today's dispensing world.

There are many benefits to using a direct draw beer tap wall mount in your restaurant or bar. One of the main benefits is that it takes up less space than traditional taps on a bar top. This can be helpful in tight spaces where every inch counts. Also, when you clean your beer lines. You will lose the least amount of beer because the run is so short.

Glycol-cooled versions can be mounted on cooler walls too. This type of wall-mounted beer tap uses cold water from a glycol chiller to keep the beer lines and tower cold. This allows you to serve more types of beers from a unique beer tower, and also a ways away from your beer cooler. The tower also looks more attractive than traditional taps mounted on top of a cooler.

How to  Choose The Right Tower For Your Bar or Restaurant

There are a few things to consider when choosing the right beer tap wall mount for your bar.

First, you'll need to decide how many taps you want to install. This will determine the size and style of wall mount you need.

Next, you'll need to consider the height of your taps. Most mounts have fixed heights.

You'll also need to decide where you want to install the tower. Wall space is often limited in bars, so it's important to choose a location that won't interfere with other bar accessories or furniture.

Finally, you'll need to consider the weight of your tap system. Some mounts are designed for lightweight systems, while others can accommodate heavier systems. A heavier tower will need to be braced in the back to support the additional weight. Its good to talk with your contractor

By considering these factors, you can be sure to choose the right beer tap wall mount for your home bar.

Installation Tips

Mounting your beer tower to the wall is a great way to save space on your bar top. Here are a few tips to help you install your beer tower:

Use a level to mark where you want to mount the beer tower. This will help ensure that your beer tower is mounted straight. A laser is also recommended.

Use the appropriate size drill bit to drill pilot holes for the mounting screws. If you are drilling through the wall. A sharp-hole saw is a must typically a 3-3.5 Inch bi-metal hole saw will work just fine.

Hang the beer tower on the brackets if needed or added bracing on the back end. Be sure not to overtighten, as this can strip the threads or damage the finish on the beer tower.

Attach the beer lines to hard piping on a tower with choke tubing and 13.3 oetiker clamp. If you are attaching to the back end of shanks use the same thing. You can also use XFM tubing inside your cooler tool.
